How do I start a new session?
From the homepage, enter a session name and click Create Session. Share the generated link with your team so everyone can join and vote.
Do participants need an account?
No accounts are needed. Each participant joins via the shared link and sets their display name locally for that session.
Which estimation deck is used?
We use the standard Fibonacci sequence for story point estimation: 0, 0.5, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34.
When are votes revealed?
Votes stay hidden while participants select their cards. When the facilitator reveals results, everyone sees the estimates simultaneously to avoid bias.
Can I reset votes for another round?
Yes. After discussing the results, the facilitator can reset votes to begin a fresh estimation round on the same story.
How many people can join a session?
Sessions comfortably support small to mid-sized agile teams. Everyone with the link can join, name themselves, and vote in real time.
Is anything stored on a server?
Sessions are stored in PostgreSQL for the duration of your collaboration and cleaned up after inactivity. Participant names and access tokens stay in your browser via localStorage so you can rejoin without retyping.
Do votes stay private until reveal?
Yes. Vote values are hidden from other participants until the host reveals results. Real-time updates arrive over WebSocket so you do not need to reload the page.
Can I use this on mobile?
Absolutely. The interface is responsive, so you can join, vote, and reveal results from phones and tablets as well as desktop.
